Leeds United defender Tom Lees says he is ready to fight for his place when the players return ahead of the 2013/14 season.
Lees is currently preparing to play for the England under-21 side in the European championship finals in Israel.
A number of players are already being linked with a move to Elland Road this summer but Lees says it will not affect him.
"There are always new players and we will just have to wait and see who comes in," Lees told LUTV.
"It will not really affect me personally because if we bring someone in who plays in the same position as me, I know I will be coming back 100% fit and I think most of the other lads will think the same."
Bolton Wanderers central defender Matt Mills is one player in the same position as Lees, who is being linked with a move to Leeds.
Mills was Leeds boss Brian McDermott`s captain during their time together at Reading, leading the side to the championship play-off final in 2011, where they lost to Swansea City.
A big money move to Leicester followed but after a falling out with manager Nigel Pearson during the season, he was offloaded to Bolton last summer.
He was a regular in the Bolton side before Christmas but an injury restricted him to just a single appearance in the rest of the season and it seems Bolton are now ready to cut their losses.
