LUFC Leeds United Transfer Rumours - Week Two

LUFC Leeds United Transfer Rumours - Week Two

Here we go again, another summer and another three months of Leeds United rumours in the transfer market and we are into the second week already.

Vital Leeds will once again be keeping you up to date during the summer with all the realistic, possible and downright ridiculous rumours.

After a busy first week, we have been linked with few new players this week, unless you go on some of the rumour sites where we are linked with everyone.

Matt Mills and Billy Sharp from week one continue to be strongly linked with a move to Elland Road.

Well it only took one week for the Ian Harte to Leeds rumours to begin and in all honesty, I am surprised it took so long. The Reading Post were the first to link him with a return to Elland Road earlier this week.

Would Brian McDermott really be targeting a left-back? It is probably one of the strongest areas of the squad and should not be on his list of priorities, especially if he has a limited budget.

The players who have been linked this week have Leeds fans asking - 'Who?`

Swindon Town right back Nathan Thompson is being lined up as a replacement for Sam Byram according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at Swindon this summer but the club could take the option to offer him a new deal, something that is stipulated in his contract with the club.

Thompson made 29 appearances this season as Swindon finished in the League One play-off places.

The Daily Express linked Numancia midfielder Stephen Sunny with a Leeds move.

The 24-year-old midfielder is out of contract this summer with the Spanish second tier side.

The Nigerian international makes Michael Brown look disciplined. Sunny has picked up 14 yellow cards in 31 appearances for Numancia this season. Sunny was also being linked with Crystal Palace by the Express.

Another name that no-one outside his family has heard of is Jean-Bryan Boukaka. Mercato365 have linked the Tours striker who had a spell on loan with Boulogne this season.

The 21-year-old could be the next Habib Habibou!?

All the rumours that I put up have been in the national press, local press or websites such as Skysports.com, Clubcall.com, and Teamtalk.com amongst others and not from sites where people just put up their wish list and make out that they have inside knowledge through their best mate`s uncle`s brother.

If you see or read any links with Leeds United then please let us know on here or on the forum.
