Blackwell Sacked

We'll it has been an eventful two years and a bit in charge, but this afternoon Kevin Blackwell's time at Leeds came to an end.

After a dissappointing end to last season followed by a horrible start to this, Ken Bates finally decided enough was enough and sacked the manager.

The name currently leading the race to replace him, in terms of the bookies is Denis Wise. Of course he has links with the Chairman. Ken Bates is actually godfather to one of Wise's children. He is doing well at Swindon and got Millwall to the F.A Cup Final, the only stumbling blocks appear to be that he isn't the most popular man at Elland Road and he has yet to manage a big club.

Other names include O'Leary, Raneari (why), Curbishley, and Byran Robson (no thanks).

Sky Sports didn't mention Strachan but I'd like to as I think he would be the ideal chioce. Perhaps they think he wouldn't leave Celtic but no harm in asking.

BRING BACK STRACH
