LUFC Byram makes final five

Leeds United defender Sam Byram is still in the running for the Football League goal of the year after the ten nominees were whittled down to five.

Byram`s goal against Oxford United in the Capital One League Cup in August as made it to the final stage of voting.

All 72 Football League clubs had to put forward their goal of the year before a Football League panel chose the top ten goals.

Fans were then asked to vote for their favourite, with the top five going forward to a vote on the night at the Football League awards dinner this Sunday, with the winner being announced on the night.
