Deal for Howson

Deal for Howson

Whites youngster Jonathan Howson has been rewarded for his fine form in the reserves with a three year contract at the club.

Midfielder Howson has been on the bench for the first team a few times but has yet to make his debut for the club.

Howson told leedsunited.com: 'I'm really pleased I've signed the contract. It gives me another two years after this and I want to push on now.

'I've been working hard and it's great to have been given the chance to be involved for the first time.

'Three years is a long time and I hope that I can get more involved with the first team. I've been close in and been around it, and I'm enjoying things.'
