LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - March 9th

Vital Leeds looks at how the loan players did in the games over the weekend.


Patrick Kisnorbo - Ipswich Town (Rest of season)
Kisnorbo was once again an unused substitute in the 0-0 draw at Peterborough United.

After making his debut in the FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa at the beginning of January, Kisnorbo has been an unused substitute in the last ten Ipswich games.


Danny Pugh - Sheffield Wednesday (Rest of season)
Pugh played the 90 minutes for Sheffield Wednesday as they won 1-0 at Leicester City

Pugh has made 8 appearances since arriving at Hillsborough in January.


Dominic Poleon - Sheffield United (Rest of season)
Poleon came off the bench after 83 minutes for Sheffield United as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by MK Dons.

The youngster has made 5 appearances since his arrival at Bramall Lane on February 16th.


Zac Thompson - Bury (Rest of season)
Thompson started the game for Bury before being substituted on 80 minutes in their 2-0 defeat at Portsmouth.

The defeat sees them slip to the foot of League One and they remain eight points from safety.

The midfielder has made 26 appearances for Bury in two spells since originally arriving at Gigg Lane in October.


Paul Connolly - Preston North End (Rest of season)
Connolly completed the 90 minutes for Preston as they continue their revival under Simon Grayson, beating Stevenage 2-0 at Deepdale.

Connolly has made 6 appearances since signing for Preston in January.


Paul Rachubka - Accrington Stanley (Rest of season)
After keeping consecutive clean sheets, Rachubka conceded twice in the 2-0 defeat at Northampton Town.

The defeat sees them slip into the relegation places in League Two.

Rachubka has now made 13 appearances in his two spells with Stanley this season.


Charlie Taylor - Inverness Caledonian Thistle (Rest of season)
Taylor started his first game for Inverness as they drew 1-1 at Dundee before eventually being substituted on 58 minutes.

Taylor has made four appearances since arriving at Inverness in January.


Alex Cairns - Stalybridge Celtic - (Loan ends March)
Cairns completed another 90 minutes as they went down to a 1-0 defeat at Corby Town.

Celtic finished the game with ten men after substitute Mitchell Austin was sent off with eleven minutes remaining.

The 20-year-old has played 36 times for Celtic this season, keeping 9 clean sheets since joining them in the first week of the season..


Nathan Turner - Chester FC (Rest of season)
Nathan Turner played the 90 minutes for Chester as they continued their relentless push for the Blue Square Conference North title.

Chester won 3-1 at Harrogate Town to remain 16 points clear at the top of the table.

Nathan has made 14 appearances since joining them in November and he has scored one goal.


Lewis Turner - Chester FC (Rest of season)
He has yet to feature since joining them in January.
