LUFC Kisnorbo denies Chinese link

LUFC Kisnorbo denies Chinese link

Leeds United defender Patrick Kisnorbo has denied claims that he is about to sign for Chinese side Liaoning Whowin FC.

The Australian international defender is currently on loan at fellow championship side Ipswich Town for the remainder of the season. Kisnorbo has made just one appearance for Ipswich since joining them on loan at the beginning of January.

A sports management company claiming to represent Kisnorbo said that he was ready to leave Portman Road and sign for the Chinese side but Kisnorbo was quick to rubbish the claims.

Speaking on the Ipswich Town official website , Kisnorbo said, "It`s all rubbish. I have never heard of the club or the company either so I don`t have a clue where the story has come from,"

"I`m here at Ipswich until the end of the season and then I will look at my future after that. All I am concerned about at the moment is doing my best for the Club and helping Ipswich move up the table."

The 31-year-old has made just one appearance for Leeds this season and he looks to be on his way out of the club in the summer when he comes to the end of his current deal.

The defender has suffered an injury-ravaged time at Leeds since joining in the summer of 2009. He missed over a year after suffering an Achilles injury and he spent the second half of last season out of the side after suffering a knee injury.

Kisnorbo has made 57 appearances for Leeds during his time at Elland Road.
