Leeds United boss Neil Warnock reflected on another game of missed chances as their slim play-off hopes suffered another knock in a 0-0 draw at Blackburn Rovers.
Warnock has been critical of missed chances and mistakes in recent games with Cardiff City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Middlesbrough and this was another game where Leeds failed to take their opportunities to score in front of goal.
Leeds enjoyed the better of the game at Ewood Park with Luke Varney the most guilty of wasting a good chance in front of goal when he fluffed his shot in the second half and Warnock once again was disappointed not to come away from a game with three points. Speaking after the game, Warnock said, 'You don't tend to come away to Blackburn, end up 0-0 and be as disappointed as we are.
'I don't know how we've not won the game really. I never thought they were going to score, even at the death when they had a couple of corners.
'I thought we were super at the back, did well in midfield - you've just got to take your chances.'
Leeds away form is still costing them any hope of reaching the play-offs, the draw at Blackburn, only their second point on the road in their last seven games.
Millwall are next up at Elland Road for Leeds, with their home form their saving grace this season, having won six of their last seven games.
After Millwall, Leeds face tricky trips to promotion chasing Leicester City and Crystal Palace in a difficult run of games.
Leeds will have ten games remaining after the next three games and they will be looking to close the gap on the play-off places before entering the home straight.
