Aidy White wants to keep his place in the Leeds side after enjoying a recent run of games.
White has started the last three games after a stop/start season, which has seen him in and out of the starting eleven.
The versatile player as played at left back in recent games with Lee Peltier moving into the centre of defence and forming a good partnership with Tom Lees.
White got his chance after an injury to Adam Drury in the FA Cup win at Birmingham City and he now faces tough competition for the left back slot with Stephen Warnock signing on transfer deadline day.
Speaking on the Leeds official website , White said, 'I came in at the Birmingham game because Adam unfortunately got injured.
'So I was given the opportunity to go and play left back again which I was really happy about.
'I've just got to keep going and try and keep that place my own.'
White has made 26 appearances this season and the product of the Leeds United academy is now closing in on a century of appearances for Leeds since making his debut against Crystal Palace in 2008.
The Republic of Ireland under 21 international made his 92nd appearance for the club in the game with Cardiff City last weekend.
