LUFC Leeds Transfer Rumours - Tuesday January 29th

Vital Leeds United continue to keep you up to date with all the rumours doing the rounds of the coming and goings during the January transfer window.

With the transfer window closing in just two days and Neil Warnock still saying he is desperate to bring in two or three players, we are now keeping you up to date with a daily round up of players linked with moves in and out of Elland Road.

There has been strong reports today that two players are close to signing for Leeds United.

Belgium striker Habib Habibou is believed to have held talks with Leeds and is on the verge of a move to Elland Road.

Aston Villa defender Stephen Warnock is also believed to have agreed a deal with Leeds after turning down a move to Premier League side West Ham United. Reports suggest that Leeds have offered the 31-year-old defender a longer-term deal than West Ham were prepared to offer, which has swayed the players decision. West Ham boss Sam Allardyce said today that Warnock had decided to sign for an unnamed championship side in preference to West Ham.

23-year-old Sheffield United striker Nick Blackman is also believed to be on the Leeds radar. The Daily Mirror report that both Leeds and Reading are chasing the striker, who has netted 14 times this season, in a deal believed to be worth £1 million.

All the rumours that I put up have been in the national press, local press or websites such as Skysports.com, Clubcall.com, and Teamtalk.com amongst others and not from sites where people just put up their wish list and make out that they have inside knowledge through their best mate`s uncle`s brother.
