Leeds United have rewarded Sam Byram with his second improved contract of the season.

Byram is all set to sign a new and improved contract keeping him at the club until 2016. This comes just five months after signing a new deal that kept him with Leeds until 2015.

The 19-year-old made his debut against Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup on the opening weekend of the season and he is the only member of the Leeds squad this season to have featured in all 35 games.

The academy product was given his chance this season after impressing during pre-season. He has also shown his availability playing in both defence and midfield.
