LUFC Warnock - We have to go out and enjoy it

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he is looking forward to giving Tottenham Hotspur a good game when the two sides clash in the FA Cup at Elland Road on Sunday.

Warnock says the opportunity to take a break from the championship this weekend will give the players and fans the chance to enjoy a game against the side currently fourth in the Premier League.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "With no points at stake it is a game we can go out and enjoy. Nobody gave us much hope in the replay at Birmingham so this is a bonus and we want to make a good game of it.

"It is a home game so we are going to try and put on a performance and give them a game.

"It is good we have a bonus of a game against Tottenham and the quality of players they will bring. Some of our younger generation will probably talk about (Aaron) Lennon being a Leeds product and on the other side; they have one of the best players in the world in Gareth Bale, in his position. It is a great game for the FA Cup and our supporters and we have just got to go out and enjoy it."

Leeds and Tottenham met in the competition as recently as 2010 when Leeds were in League One. Having caused a major upset in the third round when Leeds defeated Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford it took Tottenham two attempts to finally defeat Leeds.

Jermaine Beckford netted twice, including an equaliser from the penalty spot deep into injury time in the initial tie at White Hart Lane to force a 2-2 draw.

Tottenham won the replay at Elland Road 3-1 thanks to a hat trick from Jermaine Defoe.
