Leeds United are once again thrust into the national spotlight this weekend when they host Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup.
In the past few seasons, Leeds have had a number of high profile FA Cup ties with Manchester United and Tottenham in 2010 and Arsenal in both 2011 and 2012.
Leeds have come away from each tie with plenty of recognition. As a Leeds fan, who will ever forget the win at Old Trafford before we then held Tottenham to a draw at White Hart Lane. A Jermaine Defoe inspired Spurs were then too good, as they won the replay at Elland Road 3-1.
Leeds came within a whisker of producing another major upset in the third round in 2011 at the Emirates. Robert Snodgrass looked like he had won the tie for Leeds from the penalty spot until Cesc Fabregas converted his own spot kick in injury time to earn Arsenal a replay. Once again, the Premier League side didn`t give Leeds a second chance when they won the Elland Road replay 3-1. Last season, Leeds were once again drawn at the Emirates in the third round. All the hysteria going into the game was the return of Thierry Henry for Arsenal. Henry had signed on loan from the MLS and it was Henry, who came on as a late substitute, who settled the tie in the final fifteen minutes of the game.
Leeds have already shown this season that they can give Premier League sides a good game in cup competitions having reached the quarter final of the League Cup.
Premier League sides Everton and Southampton were both put to the sword at Elland Road before Leeds gave Chelsea a fright for forty-five minutes before eventually bowing out of the competition
So what do you think?
Can Leeds pull of a cup shock and end 'Ossie`s dream` of a first FA Cup success for Tottenham since 1991 or will the North London club be travelling back down the M1 still dreaming of a day out in the sun in May?
You can make your prediction for the game on the right hand side of this page.
