LUFC Leeds Legend Hunter To Sell Off Medals
Leeds United legend Norman Hunter is selling off his medals as well as a number of prized possessions from his time at the club.
Hunter, who was nicknamed 'bite yer legs` due to his no-nonsense style of play during his time at Elland Road will see his memorabilia sold off online on March 13th.
Included in the sale will be his two Division One championship medals, his FA Cup winners medal and his losing medal from the 1975 European Cup Final.
The sale will also include his kit, including his FA Cup Final shirts from 1965, 1970 and 1972.
He is also selling off a number of his England caps that he won during his career. Hunter made 28 England appearances and he was part of the squad that won the 1966 World Cup Final.
Hunter spent 16 years at Elland Road making over 700 appearances for the club.

When I read things like this it makes my blood boil. A player who would run through a brick wall for Leeds, bleeds white, yellow and blue. All his hardwork at Leeds and he is having to sell it off. Then you look at some of the mercenaries that are not fit to tie his boot laces who have been on the payroll in the past ten years who are made for life. Leeds should make sure they buy this stuff and put it in the museum or even better give him the stuff back.
