Vital Leeds looks at how the loan players have done in the games on New Year`s Day.
Leeds had six players still out on loan as they all came to the end of their current loan deals after these games.
Zac Thompson - Bury
The midfielder once again played the 90 minutes as Bury suffered a 1-0 home defeat to top of the table Tranmere Rovers.
The 19-year-old midfielder has now made 16 appearances for Bury since arriving in October.
Robbie Rogers - Stevenage
Rogers was once again an unused substitute as Stevenage lost 1-0 at Walsall in League One.
Rogers has made just 9 appearances since joining Stevenage in August with only three of them being starts.
Ross Killock - Alfreton Town
The defender played the full 90 minutes for Alfreton as they suffered a disappointing defeat at home to Mansfield Town.
Killock was also cautioned late in the game as Alfreton lost 3-0.
The 19 year old has made 14 appearances with13 starts since joining them in October.
Alex Cairns - Stalybridge Celtic
It was a bad start to the year for Cairns who was sent off in the defeat for Celtic at Altrincham.
Cairns was shown a straight red card for a professional foul in the 36th minute with Celtic leading at the time 1-0.
Altrincham scored from the resulting penalty and they scored the winner three minutes later against substitute goalkeeper Jordan Barrow.
The 19 year old has played 25 times for Celtic this season and he has started every game since his arrival in August.
Lewis Turner - Harrogate Town
Turner was out of the squad for Harrogate as they started the year with a 2-1 win at Workington Town.
Lewis has made just one substitutes appearance since joining them in November.
Nathan Turner - Chester FC
Nathan Turner started his first game and scored for Chester as they won a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at Droylsden to continue their march at the top of the Blue Square North Division.
Turner scored what proved to be the crucial fourth goal just before half time, a curling shot from the edge of the area, to give Chester a comfortable 4-1 lead at the time.
The young midfielder was replaced inside the final fifteen minutes and Droylsden scored twice in the last five minutes to give Chester a few nervy moments near the end.
The win was the twelfth in a row for Chester who are fifteen points clear at the top of the table.
Nathan has now made four appearances since joining them in November.
