LUFC Warnock hoping to have trio back

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he expects trio Luciano Becchio, El Hadji Diouf and Jerome Thomas to be available for the home game with Bolton Wanderers on New Year`s Day.

The trio all missed the defeat to Hull City on Saturday with Becchio carrying a slight knock and Diouf and Thomas rested due to the busy festive period.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "Becchio as a knock on his thigh and he wasn`t worth risking with Bolton on the horizon.

"We will be in training on Sunday and he will take part.

I am expecting the players who were missing at Hull to be back for Bolton, Thomas, Becchio and Diouf should be back and hopefully Peltier."

Becchio and Thomas were amongst the substitutes whilst Diouf was left out of the squad.

Peltier has missed the last two games with a persistent groin injury.

The defender has missed the two games over Christmas, as Leeds assessed the injury, hoping rest would rectify the injury.

The club captain was away receiving treatment on the injury and not amongst the squad that travelled to Hull.

Leeds will be desperate to put the disappointing performance at Hull behind them when they entertain Bolton on Tuesday.

Despite the defeats At Nottingham Forest and Hull over the festive period, Leeds are still in ninth place just four points outside the play-off places.
