LUFC Keeper in emergency loan deal

Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Rachubka has signed for Accrington Stanley on an emergency loan deal.

Rachubka was signed by the League Two side after an injury to their regular number one Ian Dunbavin.

The 31 year old has signed for Stanley on a one-week loan deal and he made his debut in the 3-3 FA Cup draw with Oxford United on Saturday, only meeting up with his new colleagues two hours before kick-off.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock placed Rachubka on the transfer list at the end of last season after a horrendous start to his Leeds career last season.

After a catalogue of errors after coming in for the injured Andy Lonergan, he was eventually hauled off at half time in the 5-0 home defeat to Blackpool in November 2011 after being at fault for the first three goals.

He was quickly loaned out by Leeds and he spent time at both Tranmere Rovers and Leyton Orient.
