LUFC Warnock ready to talk to loan players

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says they will look at the situation with loan players Alan Tate and Jerome Thomas around Christmas.

The duo have both impressed in their two games since joining last week.

Tate at Swansea City and Thomas at West Brom have struggled at their respective clubs this season with Tate the only one to play for his parent club, making four appearances.

Their loans run out after the game with Bolton Wanderers on January 1st and Warnock says he will see what the situation is with their parent clubs over the festive period.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I don`t know how many games we have between now and the loan ending but I am sure at Christmas time we will take a look.

"It is a two way thing, if there club wants them or they are not in their plans and if they continue to play like they are then they will be in ours.

"It is really down to the players and the two clubs."

Leeds also have Michael Tonge and Ryan Hall currently on loan at the club.

Tonge has been a regular in the side since signing from Stoke City in September on a three-month loan deal.

The midfielder has made 17 appearances scoring 4 times since his arrival.

His loan at Elland Road will end after the Capital One League Cup tie with Chelsea on December 19th.

Hall signed from Southend United in October on an initial loan move with a view to making it permanent in January.

The winger arrived at Elland Road short of match fitness and he has made just three appearances since his arrival.
