Leeds United midfielder David Norris says the club takeover gave everybody a lift.
Leeds had gone seven games without a win prior to the takeover but after the takeover by GFH Capital was announced in the middle of last week, Leeds have won back-to-back games.
They have also been helped by the acquisition of Alan Tate and Jerome Thomas on loan and Norris says it all played a big factor in the sides return to form.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Norris said, "The takeover went through and it gave everybody a lift. As much as it should affect the players, it just seemed to give the fans and the whole club and it also gave the gaffer the opportunity to bring in two new players.
"Once you pick up a win in this league you can see teams go on runs and that is what we are hoping to do."
Leeds beat highflying Crystal Palace and Leicester City at Elland Road in the last week and it sets them up nicely for the trip down the road to West Yorkshire neighbours Huddersfield Town.
Norris says confidence in the Leeds camp is high after the two wins and they are looking forward to the game this weekend. "The confidence will be high after two good wins against two good teams. The crowd were lifted and it does make a difference when you can hear them getting behind you and we are looking forward to the weekend," added Norris.
The game at Huddersfield on Saturday is the start of a busy month, which includes the busy festive period.
Leeds have seven championship games in the space of a month, as well as a Capital One League Cup quarter-final against Chelsea to look forward too.
