LUFC Warnock finally gets his man
Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he wants new loan signing Jerome Thomas to enjoy himself at Elland Road.
Thomas has joined from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion having failed to break into the side this season under their new boss Steve Clarke.
Warnock admits he has tried to sign the midfielder on five previous occasions and he is just what he is looking for. Speaking on the Leeds United official website, Warnock said, "He`s a player I have tried to sign five times so it`s about time I finally got him.
"He is just what I am looking for and I want him to come here and enjoy himself.
"He`s direct and positive when he`s attacking and he fits the bill as just what we want."
Thomas has not played this season for West Brom having made 31 appearances last season for the Baggies.
The 29-year-old former England under 21 international has made over 200 career appearances in spells at Arsenal, QPR, Charlton, Portsmouth and West Brom.
Thomas will join up with the squad on Friday and he will be available for the game against Crystal Palace this weekend as well as the Capital One League Cup tie with Chelsea next month.
