LUFC On loan Leeds duo in Team of the Week

On loan Leeds United duo Zac Thompson and Dominic Poleon have been included in the League One Team of the Week.

The duo are currently on loan with Bury, under their new manager and former Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell.

Poleon was once again in the thick of the action and his pace won Bury their second half penalty in the 2-0 win over Portsmouth at Gigg Lane.

The young Leeds striker also came close to scoring when his fierce shot just went past the post after being put in by Thompson.

Since the duo arrived at Gigg Lane with Bury rooted to the bottom of League One, Bury have lost just one of their seven games and are now unbeaten in five, winning the last three.

Despite the run, they remain in 23rd in League One.

The duo are due to return to Elland Road after next weekend`s games although Bury boss Kevin Blackwell is desperate to extend the loan.

The Team of the Week also included two former Leeds players with goalkeeper David Martin (MK Dons) and midfielder Jonathan Douglas (Brentford) also included.

Full Team
David Martin - MK Dons
Nathan Thompson - Swindon Town
Tommy Elphick - Bournemouth
Angelo Balanta - MK Dons
Ash Taylor - Tranmere Rovers
Zac Thompson - Bury
Jonathan Douglas - Brentford
Nicky Wroe - Preston North End
Jeffrey Monakana - Preston North End
