LUFC Lees out for at least two weeks

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says defender Tom Lees will be out for at least two weeks with the eye injury he picked up at Brighton.

The defender was forced off in the first half of the game at Brighton on Friday night after getting a finger in his eye that saw him unable to see out of it.

Lees was sent for scans on the injury on Monday and Warnock says he will be out for at least two weeks.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "He will probably be out for a couple of weeks if we are lucky."

The absence of Lees saw Captain Lee Peltier move into the centre back position alongside Jason Pearce for the game with Burnley on Tuesday night.

Adam Drury also earned a recall to the side at left back.

Leeds went down to a 1-0 defeat after Charlie Austin got in between Peltier and right back Sam Byram to head past Paddy Kenny.
