LUFC Leeds to return home with the points?

LUFC Leeds to return home with the points?

Leeds United travel to Brighton and Hove Albion this evening looking to build on their midweek cup win.

Brighton come into the game without a win in six games and having lost two of their last three at home.

Despite this, Sportingbet have Brighton odds on for the three points at 19/20.

Leeds have failed to win any of their last three games in the championship and are 11/4 to return to Yorkshire with all three points.

Last season, the two sides shared a six-goal thriller and it is 12/5 that they will share the points again.

Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith was a summer target for Leeds and he has netted six times already this season.

He scored twice in the 3-3 draw last season and he is 5/1 to open the scoring.

Ashley Barnes also scored in this fixture last season from the penalty spot. He has netted four times this season, although he missed a penalty at Blackpool last weekend. Barnes is 6/1 to score first.

Luciano Becchio could be recalled to the starting line-up for Leeds this evening. Becchio was amongst the substitutes in the win over Southampton and he scored with his only touch of the game from the penalty spot after coming on late in the game.

The goal in midweek was his tenth of the season and he is 5/1 to open the scoring.

On loan midfielder, Michael Tonge scored his third goal in eleven appearances for Leeds in midweek, since arriving from Stoke City.

Tonge opened the scoring in midweek and he is 14/1 to repeat the feat this evening.

There were twenty-one goals in the two cup games live on Sky in midweek. A repeat of last season`s 3-3 draw between Brighton and Leeds is 80/1 if you fancy the goalscoring bonanza to continue.
