LUFC Premier League Official In Charge

LUFC Premier League Official In Charge

Premier League referee Chris Foy will be the man in charge when Leeds United welcome Southampton to Elland Road on Tuesday night in the fourth round of the Capital One League Cup.

The Merseyside official has taken charge of 8 games so far this season and he has shown just 11 yellow cards.

Last season he was in charge of 35 games, showing 86 yellow cards and 8 reds.

He was in charge of Leeds on one occasion last season when they were defeated 1-0 at Birmingham City in October.

Leeds fans may remember that Foy was the man in charge when Leeds won 1-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the FA Cup Third Round in January 2010.

You have to go all the way back to the 2005/06 season to find the last time he was in charge of Southampton.

Foy last took charge of Southampton on New Years Eve 2005 at Cardiff City when they were beaten 2-1

Referee: CHRIS FOY (Merseyside)
Assistants: Harry Lennard and Michael McDonough
Fourth Official Darren Drysdale
