LUFC Warnock - McCormack Looking Fresh

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says striker Ross McCormack is looking fresh as he steps up his return to fitness.

McCormack hasn`t featured for Leeds since the game at Cardiff City on September 15th.

The clubs leading goalscorer last season chipped a bone in his ankle in a challenge in the opening minutes at Cardiff and Warnock expected him to be out until Christmas.

Warnock says that despite McCormack looking fresh he will still need a few weeks to get up to pace with the first team squad again once he is fit.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I have seen him on the jogging machine and he is looking fresh.

"I think even when he is fit; it will take him a couple of weeks to get back to full fitness."

Despite Warnock throwing caution on the fitness of McCormack, it looks like he will return ahead of Christmas.
