LUFC Warnock - We Need Some New Blood

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock admits he is desperate to bring in two or three new players.

Warnock is hoping the long on-going takeover saga can be quickly concluded so that he can add to his small squad with games continuing to come thick and fast.

Leeds were beaten on Saturday for the first time in eight games and it was made worse by the fact Birmingham goalscorer Leroy Lita was on his wish list before he joined Birmingham from Swansea City on loan in September.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I am hoping we can bring in new blood. I did ask about Lita before he went to Birmingham.

"It would be nice to get everything sorted and bring two or three players in. I think we need something to change us and give us a lift here and there."

Warnock was boosted by Rodolph Austin, Lee Peltier and Michael Tonge all passing fitness tests for the Birmingham game, having been doubts during the week.

Danny Pugh also got a rare start in the side, just his second of the season.

Warnock will be desperate to bring in more loan signings to the club with twelve more championship games scheduled before the transfer window re-opens in January.
