LUFC Mixed Day For Leeds Loan Players

LUFC Mixed Day For Leeds Loan Players

It was a mixed day for Leeds United on loan duo Zac Thompson and Dominic Poleon.

The duo joined League One strugglers Bury last week for a month and Thompson marked his debut in midweek with a goal against Carlisle United.

The pair once again started for Bury on Saturday at Yeovil Town.

Thompson had a game to forget for Bury, being sent off just 27 minutes into the game for a two-footed challenge.

Yeovil took the lead shortly afterwards before Poleon scored his first goal for Bury from close range with just sixteen minutes remaining.

The League Ones bottom side failed to hang on though and they conceded the winner shortly afterwards to remain rooted to the bottom of League One.

Elsewhere, fellow Leeds loanee Robbie Rogers came off the bench to play the final seven minutes of Stevenage`s 1-0 win at MK Dons.

There was no place in the York City squad for youngster Charlie Taylor in their 3-2 home win over Dagenham and Redbridge.
