LUFC Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds Team News

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is likely to make a late decision on midfielder Rodolph Austin for the game with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.

The Jamaican international has been away on international duty for the past two weeks and he will not meet up with the squad until the day of the game, having played in Jamaica on Tuesday night.

He has been struggling with an ankle injury whilst away with Jamaica although he did complete 90 minutes for his country on Tuesday.

The midfielder has started all 13 of Leeds games so far this season.

Warnock is boosted by the return to full fitness of fellow midfielders David Norris and Paul Green.

Norris came off the bench to play against Barnsley in Leeds final game before the international break having missed the six previous games.

Green was named amongst the substitutes for the Barnsley game having not featured since the opening day of the season.

Michael Tonge could face a late fitness test having suffered a shoulder injury in the Barnsley game.

New signing Ryan Hall is expected to be named amongst the Leeds substitutes.

Leigh Bromby, Davide Somma, Ross McCormack and Ramon Nunez all remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries.

Sheffield Wednesday will be without Chris Lines and Reda Johnson through injury.

Dave Jones side have been hit with a virus this week with a number of players hoping to shrug of the effects of the virus in time for the game.
