'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jon glad to be back

New signing Jonathan Douglas has been speaking to leedsunited.com about the coming season, and also of last seasons play-off heartache.

'It took me a long while to get over that, it had been a long, hard season, and when it goes down to the last game and you get beat, it does hurt.

'On a personal level I really enjoyed last season and it brought me on a lot as a player, it was just a shame the way it ended

'When I left in May I didn't know what would happen, but then I got a phone call last week and couldn't wait to come over.

'There's been a few changes in the midfield area since last season, but I can't wait until Tuesday when I start again.

'I haven't been involved at Blackburn this season and am really looking forward to going back to Leeds.'

Douglas was signed for an undisclosed fee, reported to be 400,000, and has signed a three year deal at the club.
