LUFC Leeds set to win race to sign Ryan Hall

LUFC Leeds set to win race to sign Ryan Hall

Leeds United have agreed a deal with Southend United winger Ryan Hall according to Sky Sports.

Rumours surfaced in the week that Leeds were after the unsettled 24 year old who has been frozen out at Roots Hall in recent weeks.

Sky Sports now understand that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs for Hall and he will join Leeds on loan before completing the move when the January transfer window opens.

Leeds are now in negotiations over personal terms with Hall who turned down a move to Blackpool in September after failing to agree terms on a move to Bloomfield Road.

Peterborough United have also been keen to sign Hall, having had a bid turned down for the player back in August.

Hall is currently out of favour at Roots Hall after falling out with team manager Paul Sturrock during pre-season.

He started the first two games of the season for Southend against Peterborough United and Accrington Stanley before being dropped to the bench for the following game against Oxford United and he hasn`t featured since.

Peterborough tried to sign Hall on transfer deadline day for a fee in the region of £100,000, which was rejected by Southend.

Hall looked all set to sign for championship side Blackpool in September after training with Ian Holloway`s side but a deal fell through after the player could not agree personal terms after a fee in the region of £250,000 had been agreed between the two clubs..

He has been training alone since the deal with Blackpool fell through, with Southend chairman Ron Martin not wanting the player at the club.
