LUFC Thompson signs new deal

Young Leeds United midfielder Zac Thompson has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

The 19 year old joined the club in January 2011 after being released by Everton.

Last season he made ten appearances and he showed his versatility, playing at both right back and in midfield.

He was sent off in his first appearance for Neil Warnock when he was shown a straight red card in the defeat at Reading.

Thompson started Leeds last two games of the season.

He has made just one appearance so far this season when he was a late substitute in the League Cup win over Oxford United.
