LUFC Warnock still looking for signing this week
Neil Warnock says he is still looking to add to his squad this week despite the international break looming.
Leeds face two games this week, starting with a trip to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
They then go into the international break with a home game against Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley at Elland Road on Saturday and Warnock is still hoping to have a new player in the squad before their visit. Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I am hoping we can get something done this week. We are talking to people; it is just a matter of getting it over the line."
Leeds will have a thirteen-day break from games during the international break before another Yorkshire derby, this time against Sheffield Wednesday.
The whites will have played 13 games by Saturday since the season started in August.
The break could come at a bad time with Leeds in great form ahead of the Bolton clash, having won three games in the last week.
It could also give some of the walking wounded a chance to recover.
Paddy Kenny, Lee Peltier, Luciano Becchio and Adam Drury have all been carrying knocks in the last couple of weeks.
Warnock should also see Paul Green join David Norris back in contention for a starting place after being sidelined since the opening day.
The Leeds boss has so far brought in just one loan player to strengthen the ranks since the start of the season.
Michael Tonge joined from Stoke City in September on a 93-day loan deal and he has started all five games since his arrival.
The midfielder scored his first goal for the club and his first in two seasons in the win at Bristol City on Saturday.
Warnock admitted last week that he was looking to add to the squad this week but he would be a squad player rather than someone who would go straight into the side.
