With Leeds United enjoying the international break this weekend it is time to catch up with those players currently out on loan.
Transfer listed defender Paul Connolly joined Portsmouth on the eve of the new season and he has played in five of their six games so far this season.
He has been playing at centre back and in his normal role of right back since his arrival at Fratton Park.
Connolly is already amassing the yellow cards and he has picked up two in his first five games, having picked up 17 yellow cards and 1 red in his 64 Leeds appearances.
His last appearance was in front of the Sky TV cameras last midweek when they defeated Bournemouth on penalties in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy after the game had finished 2-2. Connolly was substituted after 76 minutes of the game, the first time he hasn`t completed 90 minutes since his arrival at Portsmouth.
Portsmouth are once again on Sky later today when they make the trip to Crawley Town.
Young goalkeeper Alex Cairns is currently plying his trade in the Blue Square conference North with Stalybridge Celtic.
Celtic brought in Cairns after regular goalkeeper Andy Ralph broke his leg on the opening day of the season.
The 19 year old has played in all six of Celtic`s games since his arrival and he has managed two clean sheets.
In their latest game at Gloucester City on Saturday, Cairns handed Gloucester a lifeline in the game when he handled a back pass after Celtic had taken an early two-goal lead. Gloucester scored from the resulting free kick and went on to beat Celtic 4-3 with the winner coming in the third minute of injury time.
The defeat to Gloucester was their first in his six games with Celtic.
Another player on the transfer list, Robbie Rogers, is currently on loan with League One side Stevenage.
Rogers has made four appearances since signing for Stevenage and he is still waiting to complete 90 minutes.
He came off the bench to make his debut against Oldham Athletic a few days after signing for Stevenage.
He has started all three of Stevenage`s games since but he has been substituted in all three around the hour mark.
Rogers is another player who could be in action live on Sky today with Stevenage travelling to Coventry City in front of the TV cameras.
Young defender Charlie Taylor joined York City at the end of August and he has played in all three of their games since his arrival.
Taylor has started all three games, he completed 90 minutes in the first two games against Oxford United and Rotherham United, and he earned rave reviews from York boss Gary Mills following the win at Rotherham.
He started the game with Chesterfield on Saturday before being substituted in the 65th minute of the 2-2 draw.
