LUFC Norris facing up to a month on the sidelines
Leeds United have been dealt a blow with the news that David Norris could be out for up to four weeks.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay has revealed that the midfielder is set to miss most of September.
The news will come as a blow to Neil Warnock`s small squad. Warnock is already having to do without fellow midfielder Paul Green with a knee injury, with the Republic of Ireland international also expected to remain on the sidelines until the end of this month.
Norris, who signed from Portsmouth in the summer, has been struggling with injury in recent weeks and he was a major doubt for the game with Blackburn Rovers last weekend after sitting out the League Cup tie with Oxford United in midweek.
The injury to Norris will most probably mean a recall for veteran midfielder Michael Brown with transfer listed Danny Pugh also coming back into the equation.
Warnock has always said that the squad lacks depth with such a small squad and he will be hoping to raid the loan transfer market when the window reopens next week.
