LUFC Duo having Leeds trials

Leeds United are giving trials to strikers Peter Poloskei and Sean Myler.

Both played for the Leeds development squad in their 3-1 win over Wigan Athletic at Elland Road on Monday.

Poloskei, a striker from Hungary scored the opening goal of the game and he impressed Leeds development squad manager Neil Redfearn.

Redfearn spoke about Poloskei on LUTV after the game when he said, "He`s a big man and he leads the line, he plays with energy, he backed in and he held it up.

"I thought he led the line quiet well. He tired towards the end because he worked hard and you can`t ask for more than that.

"It was a typical old fashioned centre forwards goal. It was a good ball into the box and he timed it well to rise above the centre half to head home."

The 24 year old had been with Hungarian side Ferencvaros since 2008 but is currently without a club after being released. He recently spent two weeks on trial with League One side Coventry City.

Myler is currently without a club after being released by Premier League side Wigan Athletic in the summer.

The 19 year old came through the academy at Everton along with Leeds midfielder Zac Thompson.

Myler, who can also play in midfield came off the bench to replace the injured Ramon Nunez and he came close to getting his name on the score sheet.
