1982
Leeds start their first season in Division Two with a 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town. Terry Connor is on target for Leeds in a game over the Bank Holiday weekend. After trouble in and around Cleethorpes, football authorities say Leeds would not be given an away fixture at a season destination over a Bank Holiday weekend. That was until we visited Bournemouth in 1990.
1990
Leeds first home game following their promotion back to the top flight sees them draw 0-0 with Manchester United.
1993
Liverpool inflict a 2-0 defeat on Leeds at Anfield. To compound matters, one goal came off the end of Ian Rush`s big hooter.
1999
Leeds win 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur thanks to goals from Alan Smith and Ian Harte. The win starts a run of 13 games unbeaten, taking them into November.
2002
Leeds drop their first points of the season with a 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland.
2007
Premier League side Portsmouth inflict Leeds first defeat of the season with a 3-0 win in the Carling Cup at Fratton Park.
2010
Richard Naylor scores the only goal of the game as Leeds win 1-0 at Watford.
