1979
Goals from Kevin Hird and Carl Harris secure a 2-0 win over Everton in Leeds first home game of the season.
1987
Leeds remain unbeaten at the start of the 1987/88 season with a 0-0 home draw against Reading. Having just missed out on promotion the previous season, Leeds make it five points from a possible nine.
1992
Leeds lose for the first time in the Premier League with a 4-1 defeat at promoted Middlesbrough. Eric Cantona is on target for Leeds in the defeat.
2006
Leeds progress in the first round of the Carling Cup with a 1-0 home win over Chester. Eirik Bakke scores the only goal of the game at Elland Road.
2009
Leeds equal a 40-year record at Elland Road with their 13th straight home win.
Bradley Johnson, Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio are on target in a 3-0 win over Tranmere Rovers.
