LUFC Leeds spend less on agent fees

The latest reports state that Leeds United spent just over £614,000 on agent fees during last season.

The exact amount of £604,286 is down on the £788,630 paid the previous season.

The decrease is most probably to do with the amount of transactions at the club. Leeds were involved in 45 players either being brought in, sold, loaned, new deals or cancelled contracts during last season compared to 56 the previous season.

West Ham led the way in the championship last season spending over seven times the amount Leeds paid. The hammers spent £4.3 million on 69 transactions.

Leicester City, Reading and Crystal Palace were the only other clubs to spend over £1 million during the season.

Barnsley spent the least amount, spending just £124,888.
