LUFC Leeds win again in pre-season

Leeds United continued their build up for the new championship season with a 3-1 win at Preston North End.

Neil Warnock welcomed back Paddy Kenny and Luciano Becchio to the side from injury after the pair stayed behind in England whilst the rest of the squad travelled to Norway in midweek.

There was also a return for Patrick Kisnorbo who was making his first Leeds appearance since January 2nd following knee surgery.

Leeds continued their impressive run of results in pre-season with a comfortable win at Deepdale.

Tom Lees gave Leeds the lead on the half hour on ly for John Mousinho to equalise for the home side just before the hour.

Young defender Sam Byram restored the lead for Leeds soon afterwards with his first senior goal for the club and Aidy White scored his third goal of pre-season with just ten minutes remaining to wrap up the win for Leeds.

Leeds now travel to Burton Albion on Tuesday night for their final pre-season game with the new season kicking off next Saturday with a Capital One League Cup tie against Shrewsbury Town at Elland Road.
