LUFC Warnock - It is important we keep Ross

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says it is important that the club hold onto striker Ross McCormack.

McCormack is out of contract next summer and he has already turned down the offer of a new deal.

Warnock says after losing Robert Snodgrass last week, he does not want to lose McCormack, who scored 19 goals last season. Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I have had a chat with him and Shaun Harvey will be having a chat with his representatives over the next few days.

We have had a couple of enquiries for him but at the moment, unless we got an offer that was too good to turn down I won`t be selling him.

"Once we lost Rob Snodgrass, I think it is important that we keep Ross."

McCormack has been linked with a host of clubs this summer, with Huddersfield Town, Crystal Palace, Bristol City, Brighton, Wigan and West Ham all being linked with a move for the Scottish international striker.
