2008
Leeds boss Gary McAllister is hoping to complete the signing of Luciano Becchio after he impressed in the game with Shelbourne last week.

Speaking on the official website, McAllister said, 'It's something we're looking at and we're talking about.'

'There's some loose ends to tie up, but we're hoping we may be able to tie something up later in the week.'


2009
Leeds United keeper and Scottish U21 international Alan Martin joins
Accrington Stanley on loan until January 2010.

Richard Naylor is been named as club captain for the 2009/10 season.

2010
Leeds United finished off their pre-season campaign with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Premiership side Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road.

Leeds included six of the clubs seven summer signings with Alex Bruce who had only arrived at the club the previous day coming off the bench.

Max Gradel, Lloyd Sam and Bradley Johnson are all on target against the Premier League side.

2011
Leeds completed their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at Elland Road.

Patrick Kisnorbo, Lloyd Sam and a first Elland Road goal for Billy Paynter secured a 3-2 win.
