'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Snodgrass parting message to the club and fans

Former Leeds United winger Robert Snodgrass who joined Norwich City this week left a parting message to the fans and the club.

Snodgrass spoke on the official websiteofficial website, where he thanked everyone connected with the club and he admits he felt the fans frustration last season.

The Scotland international said, 'I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every single person connected with Leeds United for your support over the past four years.

'It's a fantastic club with an unbelievable fanbase and nothing would make me happier than to see Leeds United back in the Premier League.

'I felt the frustration of the Leeds United fans last season and that is why I stayed on a further year to try and help the club back to where they belong. But I couldn't turn down the opportunity to play Premier League football this time around.

'I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Neil Warnock and his backroom staff all the best for the new season and the near future.'

Snodgrass enjoyed four seasons at Elland Road, making 191 appearances and scoring 41 goals.

The winger was always a huge fans favourite and he was named the clubs player of the year as well as the player`s player of the year in his last season with the club.

Sorry Rob but I won't buy this one. And Why because you were the whites Captain and that job what You demanded from NW comes with responsibility in it. Captain never leaves his men or crew until fat lady sings. That is the a lesson learned from my father (RIP) when his generation was fighting against Russians,. You lead your men from the front and expect anybody including himself 100% loyalty and commitment. But good luck anyway.... Tare
