2006
Leeds striker Rob Hulse agrees to join Sheffield United. The fee is an initial £2.2 million rising to £3 million with extras included in the deal.

2007
Leeds lose the final game of their three game tour of Germany against FC Energie Cottbus. Tresor Kandol scored for Leeds in the defeat in what was a bad night. Leeds finishing the game with nine men after Jonathan Douglas and Jermaine Beckford were both shown red cards.

2011
It is reported that player of the year Max Gradel is being chased by eleven clubs.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson says young midfielder Adam Clayton is pushing himself into first team reckoning during pre-season. Speaking about the midfielder, Grayson said, 'I`m looking for players who are pushing themselves forward for the first game of the season.

'I think the prime example of that is Adam Clayton.

'He`s been outstanding over pre-season, both on the training pitch and in the games that he`s played. You can see the ability that he`s got and what we saw in him when we signed him last year. He is certainly staking a claim to be in the starting eleven for the Southampton game.'
