'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cresswell Wants Quick Return

Leeds striker Richard Cresswell has targeted a first-team return within the next fortnight.

The 1.15million summer signing from Championship rivals Preston sustained a ruptured knee ligament injury during the 3-1 win over Derby in September.

However, the 29-year-old is now back in training and looks set to return earlier than scheduled.

Cresswell told the club's official website: 'It feels like a really long time since I last played.

'It's the worst thing as a professional footballer to be out injured and not able to do anything, so hopefully I can continue to get stronger and maybe in the next week or two I can come back.'
