2006

Leeds are giving a trial to defender Hayden Foxe with a view to a permanent move.

The former Portsmouth defender is without a club after being released by the south coast club in 2005. (Foxe did not join).

Leeds make their first signing of the summer with winger Seb Carole joining on a free transfer from Brighton and Hove Albion.

2007
The tour to Germany didn`t have the best of starts as Leeds fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Regionalliga Nord (III) side, FC. Union Berlin at their Alte Försterei stadium.

Leeds United Squad:
Loach (Hamman 46), Richardson, Marques, Heath, Parker, Douglas, Prutton, Thompson (Weston 59), Lewis (Carole 59), Kandol (Constantine 59), Beckford (Elliott 71). Subs Not Used: Delph.

2008
Leeds are being strongly linked with a move for Wolves striker Jay Bothroyd. Boss Gary McAllister admits a deal has been agreed to sign a unnamed player. (Bothroyd did not join)

2009
Leeds end their three game tour of Ireland with a 3-1 win at Glentoran. Goals from Robert Snodgrass, Jermaine Beckford and Enoch Showunmi ease Leeds to victory.

2011
The trip to Leicester City in November is moved back 24 hours to Sunday November 6th to avoid a clash with the rugby union at Leicester Tigers on the Saturday.

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson admits they negotiated a new deal ahead of schedule with Patrick Kisnorbo to protect their assets.

Kisnorbo was a free agent on July 1st after coming to the end of his two-year contract at Elland Road.

Crystal Palace had been linked with a move for the out of contract defender.
