LUFC Norwich back in for Snodgrass

Sky Sports are reporting that Norwich City have made a fresh bid for Leeds United captain Robert Snodgrass.

Norwich failed with two bids last summer to prize the Scotland international winger away from Elland Road but Sky say that their sources have been told that they have come in with another bid.

Snodgrass, who is moving into the final year of his current deal at Elland Road, has been offered a new deal at Leeds, which would make him the highest paid player at the club.

The 24 year old has admitted that he is waiting to see the ambitions of the club this summer before committing himself to Leeds.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock has asked his captain to give him at least one more year to try to help the club return to the Premier League and if they fail, he will ensure he finds him a Premier League club at the end of the season.

Snodgrass joined Leeds in the summer of 2008 and he has made almost 200 appearances, scoring 35 goals. He enjoyed his best return for the club last season when he netted 13 times.

Former Norwich City boss Paul Lambert, who is now at Aston Villa is also reportedly keen on prizing Snodgrass away from Elland Road.

***** Norwich keep him on until his contract runs out, hopefully by then he will see we are serious title contenders, if we are 10, 12, 15 points clear at Xmas then hopefully he will see sense and sign another deal. Of course the above scenario is only playing out that way in my head lol. I think I'd have to pinch myself if the above was to happen, but I can dream...........
