Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.
We start this week with one going out the door.
Transfer listed Adam Clayton finally made the move away from Elland Road. Clayton had been linked with moves to Bolton, Burnley and Reading already this summer but just days after being linked with Huddersfield Town for the first time, he signs for the club managed by his former boss Simon Grayson.
There have been more and more column inches filled this week with players who have previously been linked with us and a move away from us.
Portsmouth striker Luke Varney (week 1) continues to be linked with a move to Elland Road and Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton says he has held talks with Leeds.
Coventry City defender Richard Keogh (week 2) has also been rumoured once again this week to be on his way to LS11.
The Paddy Kenny (week 3) saga continues and it continues to look just like a matter of when and not will he sign for Leeds.
Kenny`s QPR teammate Tommy Smith (week 5) is once again linked with a move to Leeds according to the Daily Mail.
There have been a few new names added to the list this week.
Nottingham Forest defender Luke Chambers is reported to be a target of Warnock. Chambers has held talks with Ipswich Town and he is close to signing for the Suffolk club according to their boss Paul Jewell.
Chambers came out on Friday and said he was not keen on a move too far away from Nottingham with his wife suffering with postnatal depression.
Leeds have been linked with three strikers who all played in the Premier League last season.
Leroy Lita made 16 appearances for Swansea last season in the Premier League, scoring two goals.
Simon Cox made 18 appearances for West Brom in the Premier League last season, failing to score. He managed four goals in the cup competitions including a hat-trick against Cardiff in the FA Cup.
He recently returned from the European championships with Republic of Ireland.
DJ Campbell made 11 appearances for Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League, with 9 of those coming off the substitutes bench. He managed just one goal in the 3-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Going out, Bolton are reported to have made an approach for goalkeeper Andy Lonergan (week 6)
One player linked with Leeds earlier this summer will not be joining. Matt Mills from Leicester City (week 1) signed a three year deal with Bolton Wanderers this week.
If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
