A look back at what has happened in recent history at Leeds United.
Leeds sign striker Enoch Showunmi on a free transfer from Bristol City. Showunmi turned down a move to Elland Road in January but this time puts pen to paper on a two-year deal.
Midfielder Robert Snodgrass says the club are desperate for automatic promotion from League One after losing out in the play-offs the two previous seasons. The players have just returned for pre-season training under Simon Grayson and Snodgrass speaking on the official website said, 'You know what`s at stake - automatic promotion. We don`t want the heartache of the play offs, that`s the standard we are setting'.
Neil Collins speaks after signing for the club on a three-year deal from Preston and admits he was close to joining the previous summer. Collins spent the final months of the season on loan at Elland Road. Speaking following the announcement of his arrival, Collins said, 'Last summer, I knew it was between Leeds and Preston and it wasn't to be at Leeds, they just couldn't afford what Wolves were asking for and I went to Preston.
'Obviously, I was keen to come permanently to Leeds. The club were on a high last season; the last game of the season in particular.
'Thankfully, it turned out I was meant to come back here and I'm just so pleased.'
Collins spell with Leeds did not last long and he was sold to Sheffield United in January.
Goalkeeper Shane Higgs says he is ready to battle for the number one jersey with Kasper Schmeichel.
Higgs was the regular number one in his first season at Elland Road but he faces stiff competition following the arrival of Schmeichel from Notts County.
Leeds boss Simon Grayson says he is going to give defender Federico Bessone a second chance following a poor first season at Elland Road.
Bessone returned to training with Leeds last week after making just eight appearances the previous season and spending time out on loan with Charlton Athletic. His second chance did not last long and previous club Swansea City snapped him up on transfer deadline day.
Alex Bruce says he is ready to fight for a place in the side. Bruce hasn`t played since the 3-0 defeat at Swansea in February.
The defender admits pre-season training has been hard but he is determined to work his way into the side. Speaking at the time, Bruce said, 'I`m very determined. No player wants to work Monday to Friday and not play on a Saturday. You work hard in pre-season to stake your claim for the first game of the season and that`s my aim.'
Bruce had to wait until January for his first appearance of the season after he looked to be on his way out of the club when he joined Huddersfield Town on loan in November. A defender injury crisis at the club sees him recalled by Leeds. The defender made eight appearances before the end of the season but Leeds boss Neil Warnock releases him at the end of the season.
