LUFC Warnock - Unsure of White future

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he does not know what is happening with out of contract Aidy White.

White ended his current deal with the club on June 30th after turning down a new deal with the club.

Warnock says he has had no word from White or his representatives and he is still waiting to be informed what his intentions are. Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I have not been told whether he`s found a club or whether he intends to find a club. All I know is he turned our offer down and until he makes a decision I don`t know.

"We come back on the 11th. I haven`t spoken to him but I know he is fit because he played the game for Ireland. I am sure we will be informed on what his intentions are."

The product of the Leeds United academy enjoyed a fruitful season in the first team last season making 39 appearances before an ankle injury against Watford in March brought a premature end to his season.

The 20 year old has now made 66 appearances for Leeds since making his debut in August 2008 in the Carling Cup win over Crystal Palace.

His form for Leeds last season also saw him break into the Republic of Ireland under 21 squad. He played in all seven games that they played during the 2011/12 season, and he scored his first goal in the win over Liechtenstein. He was also shortlisted for the under 21 Ireland player of the year.

White has been linked with a number of clubs during the summer, including Arsenal, Newcastle United and Glasgow Celtic as well as interest from abroad.

My strong advice to AW and his agent provocateur; this is recession time in Europe and one should be a glad to have a job in the first place. If there is some contract issue then propose a clause if and when we are promoting to PL my salary/week follows certain curve etc...... Tare

Average player suddenly gets billy big time after one average season.

Football wise I would not like to see him go but on a personal and hand that feeds him basis, shun him and hope that he doesn't get a premiership or more abroad, players like this should be kicked out of football forever, I wouldn't pay him 10 quid a week. This disgusts me and players like him who fail to grasp the fact that Leeds gave him the opportunity in the first place. There is no loyalty hes probably a sc#m fan them

Cant see him turning up for training on the 11th, if his agent cant even be arsed picking up the phone to let Leeds know what the crack is, then I cannot see him coming back.

I would laugh if he had to go grovelling to Warnock near the start of the season because nobody wants him.
