Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.
I start by saying, today, the transfer window is officially open so many more links should start to appear as the players and manager return for pre-season in just over a week`s time.
After the excitement of the previous week when two players agreed to sign, I was disappointed when at the start of the week it was pointed out that Neil Warnock was having a week`s holiday.
It has been another quiet week with the main new rumours involving two players, one in, one out and involving the same club.
Leeds transfer listed midfielder Adam Clayton has been linked with a move to Premier League new boys Reading whilst fellow midfielder Brian Howard would be heading for Elland Road.
Ross McCormack has added another club to those supposedly chasing him with fellow championship side Crystal Palace joining the race to sign the Leeds striker.
The Leicester Mercury are saying that defender Lee Peltier is all set to sign for Leeds this week now that the transfer window is open.
With the transfer window opening, Paul Green and Adam Drury have now signed for Leeds whilst Aidy White is a free agent from today.
Probably the most important bit of news in the next seven days would be the imminent takeover. We may then know just how much money we have to play with.
If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
